Introducing First Monday Floral and Plant Design Classes at House of DIRT!

Classes are 7-9pm, bring a friend or buy multiple tickets and save big. Tickets are now available for purchase for the entire 2017 calendar year. Classes are make-and-take, and instructed by our owners, the DIRT design duo of Sonya and Chris Eudaley. You may BYOB.

A class ticket can be redeemed anytime during 2017 at a class of your choosing, you must RSVP at least 5 days in advance to attend your selected class/classes.

Class Descriptions and Calendar

 

7/24: Party Flowers— Centerpieces are always in fashion for summer celebrations. Join us for this fun class and learn how to design your own arrangements for any event or party.

8/7 and 8/8: Terrarium Basics— There is an art to designing the perfect terrarium. Join us to learn the best ways to build beautiful, sustainable terrariums for your home.

8/21 and 8/22: Dried Flowers— Learn to design using dried and preserved materials, including wreaths, flower crowns, and pressed flower frames.

9/4, 9/18 and 9/19: Floral Design, Fall Wreaths— September is the perfect time of year to ready your home for the changing of the seasons. What better way to welcome fall than with a beautiful wreath? This class will focus on learning how to make your own autumnal wreaths for years to come.

10/2 and 10/3: Pumpkin Centerpieces— Go pumpkin crazy with our Pumpkin centerpieces class! You’ll learn how to design beautiful fall arrangements inside of fresh pumpkins. It is a great to decorate for Halloween and even Thanksgiving.

10/16 and 10/17: Fall Garlands— Honor the tradition of "decking your halls" with the basics of garland making for holiday and party decor that will last all season.

11/6 and 11/7: The Art of Tablescaping— Hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner and want to pull off a beautiful tablescape that is expertly designed? You can with our Art of Tablescaping class. You’ll learn the inside tips to making gorgeous centerpieces and arrange them with other décor elements to create your perfect Thanksgiving aesthetic.

11/20 and 11/21: Cornucopias and Candles—Celebrate the bounty of Fall with a retro cornucopia for your Thanksgiving table. Can be used time and time again.

12/4 and 12/5: Holiday Wreaths— Nothing is more festive than a real, fragrant holiday wreath. Join us to learn how to make these timeless beauties fresh year after year.

12/19: Gift Wrapping— Master the classic skill of wrapping presents, while adorning them with natural elements, name tags, handmade bows, and fun accessories.
